Maybe a crazy question but, Is the rear axle brass brake block the same between a 7 1/4 and a 8 3/4 rear end? The Paddock has me wondering since there listing two diferent part numbers.
Thanks 5258

I switched from 7 14 to 8 3/4. On the 7 1/4 the block bolted to the housing and on the 8 3/4 there was no where to bolt it to. So I just strapped it to the rearend housing. Mine is on a drag car so beauty is not what I'm looking for. I used the 7 1/4 brake lines, backing plates brakes shoes etc. It was an easy swap as far as the brakes go.

this is what you need. you need to find out what year your rear axle is because the vent plug is in a drifferent postion and your brakes lines will be off.
