Looking to buy Weld Draglites for the rear. 67 Dart Large bolt pattern, offset hangers will be ordered.
I'm looking at 15x9 with 5.5 backspacing. I don't know the tires specs of what I will be running. I think I'll be alright at the wheel well lip, but afraid I'll be cutting it way too close at the springs. I've been referencing a small bolt pattern 68 Dart, offset hanger car with 15x9 centerlines with 5" backspacing. His car is a tight fit at the wheel well lip, and has +/- 1" clearance between the sidewall of the tire and leaf spring.
Theoretically, since my axles sit out 1/4" further, and the extra 1/2" backspace, I would have an additional 1/4" clearance at the wheel-well lip, however, I would lose 1/4" and have +/- 3/4" clearance between the tire (assuming I run the same) and the springs.
I've been searching around to see if anyone else has tried this combo but I haven't found anything.
Any thoughts on this size wheel?

My bro's 68 B'cuda has a stock width 8.75" rear with 4.5" axles & brakes. The springs are NOT moved & the 5" back space wheels fit just fine (245/45-16 tires are 1" from springs & have never touched). Adding 1/2" back space, & moving the springs inboard 5/8" would yield 1/8" more space in our case. Don't get real wide in your tire section width, & you'll be fine.
