Im changing my 71 318 scamp to a 440,besides the trans and engine mounts what should I expect to run into?Also the 440 will have 10:1 cast pistons and a Erson cam(dont have specs with me)what intake and carb would anyone recommend,I ve been thinking about a Demon.?!

Welcome to the board! Schumacher or TTI headers will resolve the exhaust issue. You'll need to upgrade the brakes and differential for strength and safety. The Demon carb is a great choice. Look at a 750 or 850 vacuum secondary if you are running an automatic. Final Carb size will be determined by max rpm, heads, compression and cam choice. You should read everything in the tech pages. You can also perform a search for past post. Just about every subject about fitment has been covered time and time again, so read the tech pages first and then ask specifics. All questions are always welcome. Abodiesonly and Moparts are also good resources................but  is the best!

You're going to want to make sure your brakes and suspension are up to the task, too. Define your use befor defining the car.
