To be honest, there is only a very small population out there that wants\needs a gear drive setup. They are costly compared to a good double roller setup (which is absolutely fine for the majority of builds out there). After they are installed (properly), there really is no need to take it off unless you get tired of the whine (which is really not that bad because of the SB timing chian cover). Also, when it is time to rebuild, they usually go right back on since the block has all ready been tapped for it. Good luck - one may pop up either here or on ebay.
