My question is, What would be the best way to tackle something like this? get the rocker and door jamb tacked into place first...... line the door up EXACTLY where you want it, make sure you have a nice straight gap between the door and rocker.......then simply replace the quarter, trunk extension ect..... DO NOT weld anything solid untill it all fits.....it will fall together nicely heres a little inspiration

Is the car rare? If you were to look to look on E-bay you would see a bunch of them. But, there wouldn't be a single one with in 200 miles of here. Is it rare like a convertible Hemi Road Runner, No. Is it rare around here, Yes. In one instance I had to call a junkyard 300 miles away to get parts for it.

First tip from me, speaking from experience, change the name from "spring 08 project" to "hope get it finished by the end of 2008 project".

That B post, the part with the door striker, is all spot welded in. Drill all those out and replace it first the go for the rocker. I can't see where the rocker is bad other than rust in the dogleg?

have you taken all the interior on the left side out yet, glass fuel tank ect?
then i would clean up were the spot welds are on the car and donor chunk.
then fill the fridge and think about it for a few days.

The interior is out of the car. The seat was worn so much so I couldn't sit on it with out a piece of plywood to cover springs. I found a milk crate be much better. I dropped the gas tank, and have rebuilt the front end and swapped the rear end out. Before I put the new gas tank in I wanted to finish the trunk, so I am dealing with the wheel wells and trunk extensions right now. My goal is to get the trunk sealed up before winter. This way I dont put the new fuel system in (new gas tank, sending unit, and fuel line) and screw my self over by having to take it back out to finish the trunk. I am going to rebuild the transmission this winter. Start putting it all together in early spring (440 is finished). Once I get it to the point to where I can limp it around the drive way I will weld in sub frame connectors and tackel the b-post, rocker and quarters. The rocker was pushed in slightly, I don't know that I can pull it back out. So I picked up the replacement while I was getting the b-post. Two birds with one stone. If I am satisfied with how the original rocker turns out I will sell the replacement .

Roll it out next to a tree, weld some sort of hook to the rocker and hook a come-along to it and see if you can pull it out. You can't wreck it any worse than it is and you have a replacement so you have nothing to lose. The less you have to cut out and repair the better.
