ok,yesterday a friend picked up a ī77 town&country, that had a 440 engine, and the dreaded leanburn text on the aircleaner,is there anything we need to consider when changing from lean burn to a regular points dist.(points dist already on by prev. owner) when I drove it home yesterday I realised that the kickdown was adjusted to hell, and the sec. ports never opened up,the acc. pump didnīt exactly do itīs job either.so we need to do a "little" tune-up. any hints om making this car perform like a bb should, is very welcome / Vince

Keep the disturbuter in it and hook up a MSD7AL with 20* start retard. The only thing is that the distrubuter is locked out with no springs and weights in it. I love them. Not sure how the time module pulled the timing in at idle and part throttle.

well, the distributor was already swapped out,we tinkered with it some and now the carb opens all 4 barrells, and the kickdown linkage is adjusted as it should, but car is anything than fast, wide open throttle and itīs slower than my 87 suburban 350.
