Well I have passed this place that has a duster sitting out on the edge of a field for the past couple months 3-4 times when going over to a buddies house and finally decided to stop and check it out the other day. I really wasn't able to get much closer than about 50 ft. from it due to horrible mud conditions in the field but the guy said that it is in fairly good condition besides the rear quarters. It has a turboed 383 mated with a 727 and 8 1/4" rear with like 3.23's or something like that in it now, but he is planning on pulling and keeping the engine and tranny. I'm almost positive that it is a 72. I am going to stop by again within the next week and get a better look at it and take some pics. Basically he said that if its not gone ( its not really advertised as for sale) by next spring he was going to take it to the scrap yard and he was told that it was worth 150 in scrap so thats what he wants out of it. If anyone is in the area and/or is interested let me know and I'll try to help you out. Just would hate to see it go to the yards and I really don't have the time or space to fix/store it right now.
