No replacement for displacement!
|
I bought a Legendary carpet for my 4speed 69 Dart a year ago. I installed it a few months ago and it fits like crap around the hump! Do you think it is from sitting in the box for a year? I have applied wieght to the hump and left if for 2 weeks and that made it a little better but I still have a lot of wrinkles. I really wanted vinyle/rubber floor covering but Legendary told me no one makes it. I thought I saw rubber flooring in Year One. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have a solutiion? Who makes a good rubber floor covering that fits? Thanks

I'm looking for a rubber floor mat too for my stick on the floor 70 Dart. I pulled one out of a 70 Valiant 4 door. The rear one fit ok but the front was off near the hump. Unfortunately there is a big tear near the gas pedal also. I like the look though.

the wrinkles should settle over time, especially when the car gets hot from running and being in the sun.
