My Son is in the U.S. Navy, in the Gulf somewhere. I have no idea where they are and have not even heard from him for a few weeks. Anyway, My son ask me to get a higher lift put on his 2001 Jeep Cherokee. I go to Racerz Edge in Johnstown, Pa. They order Me the Rubicon Express 5.5 lift. I had them install the lift. After 2 weeks, I go look at My sons Jeep. I tell Racerz Edge thats not a Rubicon lift. He keeps telling me that this is the lift I order. I go home and call Rubicon Express. Explain the lift to them. They tell me its not there lift and to send pictures. I go back up to Racerz Edge to take some pictures. The owner comes out and says that Rubicon Express send him the wrong lift. I call Rubicon Express back. They tell me that Racerz Edge just ordered the right lift. Now I am waitng for the new lift to be put on. I found out the lift that was put on is a Rough Country lift. It cost $995 compared to $1492 for just the lift. Talk about someone trying to steal money. If it was not for Me knowing what to look for, I would gotten ripped off, and My son would have had a cheap lift. What can you do about a place like Racerz Edge ripping people off. I am probably not the only one this has happened to. Thanks for listening.

not really alot you can do as far as I know. Personally find any local automotive forum and post up what happened, I'd cuss out the owner and tell him your son will never be back with his vehicles to them and he will never recommend them to anyone.

You can file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but that really only hurts him IF he's a member of the BBB. If he's not, all it means is he's on someone's bad boy list. If they're making it right that's about all you can do.

Wow! I didn't even know they did lifts there. I probably wouldn't go there for anything but after hearing that i'll make a point to not send my business there way.

and make sure they don't try to sock you double on the labor. It's thier fault for installing the wrong lift, and you shouldn't have to pay the labor for thier mistake.
