Any one know what the stock specs of a camshaft are, I going to put a cam in, but I don't know the specs on a stock cam

You might try the HPBooks How to Rebuild Small Block Ford Engines. I don't know if the stock cam info is in there, but I'm pretty sure the same book for the Big Block Ford engine has tables of every imaginable part including the various different cams. -Charles

it also makes a difference if its a h.o  kind of like jumbo shrimp but really the firing order was diferent

I got a buddy at work who wants to built his own version of a ford  ......an Edsel with a pump gas 460. what do ya'll think of that? He says it'll eat my Swinger......I'm not really thinkin so unless he runs it on Nitro

That's what I keep telling him.....I talked him into the bigblock. he originally wanted to put a 4.6L fuelie into it. I think it was all the laughing that finally convinced him

Hopefully he won't put the Kaase P51 big block heads on. If he does that, you're in trouble.

To get back on topic what year of 302 cam? It's going to make a difference. Is this an H.O. camshaft?

Just put in a 440 and forget about the cam on that little 302.

The 302 is not a H.O. and the year is 94, then I got a big block 351 modified thats a 73'

A non H.O. 302 is going to be out of a truck? Lift in the range of around .430's and duration around the low .200's. Not a worthy cam for anything other than what it was put in there for, which wasn't performance.
The 351M wasn't a performance minded motor either, but you may try the bigblockfox.com
