It is inspiring to see the hard work of other members as they proceed with their projects. It is great to see the finished project, but even better to see the journey unfold. As I said earlier, all you guys are inspiring ! This is such a great website.

I dont post many pics.....but as soon as I figure out which transmission I am gonna do a step-by-step install.  I got it narrowed to a 6spd or 4l80E w/ paddle shifters.  I know it's a GM trans, but the paddle shifter is way cool and the shift points can be tuned to whatever I want.

I agree I like to see progress pics, I am on pro-touring.com all the time watching progress (based on the cars they build)

Good luck on your firewall THINK3205 and if you need any help on process let me know.......unfortunately I didnt have a digital camera to take pics when I did it

paddle shifters are cool but i've always like 6-speeds. that's probably what i am going to go with.

thanks again for all the help. still trying to figure out which way i am ultimately going to go with...

These guys can do paddle shifters for a 727...........Just another option Dunno
