Wanting To Wake From A Bad Dream
« on: November 15, 2007, 03:13:30 AM »

I got one of those calls today that you never want to get. My Mom had to call me to let me know that my youngest Brother shot himself this morning. He was 24 and single. No one knows why he did it. It still feels like a bad dream that I can't wake up from.

Sorry to hear. It will be rough for awhile. It happened to my twin brother, (15 years ago, in the cellar of my business). I found my brother. You will never know why it happened.  My brother was 29 at the time.   Sorry!!!  Dunno

So so sorry to hear about that. It is very tragic. You must feel very angry and alone....but you need to know that you are not alone...these things affect many more than you may know....My sister and her husnband found his 19 yr old brother in the same situation...and there are others on this site who have recently suffered through the same thing....our prayers are with you....

That is very heavy! We go through life sometimes trying to make things better for our family. We struggle to work a couple jobs to keep our heads above the water. Every extra dime goes into our hobby so we can have some fun and keep our own sanity, but we never know what somone else is thinking. Even when they are standing next to us, smiling and joking, seemingly having as good a time as we are. You hang in there knowing that you are loved by our entire  bbd sign family. We are so sorry to hear this story, but know we are with you. May you find the strength to keep moving and sharing and talking. Know that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal! Love and peace be yours today!!!

My condolences - I know people who have been greatly affected by suicide and have come to realize just how deep and dark the hole of depression is. Hang in there, you and your family are in my prayers.

brent, sitting here and reading this is very hard to do for i went through the same thing and it brings back all the sadness and the tears all come back really fast and won't stop. my son did the same thing and it's hard to keep your thoughts together and do what needs to be done. take one thing at a time and you will be able to cope with it although you won't think you can. yes it's like a bad dream but you and your love ones will make out ok. give them all the support they need and i'm here for you buddy.

Brent, I am so so sorry to hear that terrible news. I lost a freind that way in Jr. High. I still can't even imagine how that must be for you. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Even though it sounds corny, I know the good folks on this board are all here for you.

God Bless,

Chris E.

Our condolences.  For whatever caused him to end has pain, know he now is in the hands of the Lord, pain free.  God bless you in your time of sorrow.
