I think that it is awesome that you can do this for your brother. To be able to put your love and labor into his final resting spot on this earth is a honor not many get to share with their loved ones. You are serving him proud. I'm sure your brother is smiling in appreciation somewhere. My prayers are with you. Quinn

Here's some pics of the casket that I build for my younger Brother. I thought I was going to have until this Friday to finish it, but I found out Monday that it needed to be to them by 4:30 PM on Tuesday. So I wasn't able to stain it and spray it with some finish. I think it turned out pretty good anyway. I did the inside with some nice camo material because he was into military things. He always wanted to go into the service, but because of a paint-ball accident his Senior year in high school that left him partially blind in one eye he wasn't able to. My family was really happy with it and it was something personal I could do for him one last time. I had a few moments doing it that were hard on me, but for the most part it did me good to make it for him.

Brent

And thanks again to everyone for their support.

Hi Brent, so sorry to hear that.

Sometimes we wonder why things happen, but can't change them. It's hard.

The memories will pull you through, reminding you how lucky you all were that he was part of your lives.

God bless you and your family. Brion

I have been having a hard time with my brothers death the last few months. Yesterday I went to a memorial for a friend that just pasted away last week at the age of 53. It was hard to talk to people because I kept tearing up thinking of my brother. Last night as I laid in bed thinking about him I was just about asleep when it felt like a bat hitting me in the chest and all of the sudden I truly knew it was he is gone. And today is the first day that I was able to look his picture above the fire place without feeling a over whelming sadness in my heart. I guess that time does heal all.
