That's a nice car.  I have that web site saved since I have a couple 65's.  BTW I'm waiting to hear from Bakaruda.  I believe he said he was arriving in town today.  I have your number so I'll give you a shout tomorrow.  I have concrete being poured in the morning so I want to stick around until they're done.  If you guys are up for it, Randy's (Dabignuttedman) last race is Sat. evening up in Peris. I'd kind of like to go up there since he's leaving the area.

I saw one of those in a junkyard about 20 years ago. i didn't know what it was, but could tell  was special.  the yard wanted 200 for the engine as a core. i got the distributor and at least one of the dart charger emblems. it took another 2 years before i found anyone that knew anything about it.
(it would take 2 minutes now, with the internet and all) most people thought i was nuts. i had no idea they were that rare.
once i owned a 64 dart /6 4 speed golden aniversary special. i have not seen another one since i sold it (also about 20 years ago) Doug

I have heard that they were sold in California or the western US ONLY. I don't know for sure, though.

Here's one for sale on egag that's been worked over a bit.  There was someone on the old board who had one or two of them but I forget who it was.  I believe he was in the LA area.

Here's an article from a mag I saved.
