bastard child possibility
« on: November 18, 2007, 10:03:18 PM »

went to a huge grudge race this weekend, Grudgefest 2.  what a weekend.  wanted to get some inpput, dont know what you guys and gals think of this.  i know that unfortunately that alot of people will put a chebbie drive train in a mopar chassis, as do they in the 10.5 mustangs

my best friend and i have a chance to buy a 92 mustang coupe that is a complete roller, nitrous tanks, bottle heaters and blankets, fuel cell, kirkey seats, msd 7al the whole 9 yards.

i have a brand new 400 stroker set up for nitrous, with a brand new cope 727 with a brake and reverse manual valve body,  im still several thousand dollars away as well as several thousand hours from having the dart ready.

we got the idea to put my drive train in this car,  figured a huge mopar m on he back window would be a perfect kick in the teath for the phord guys

what do ya think

Go for it, but make sure you have some kind of agreement as to what happens with your drivetrain when your body is ready.

It's tough to share a car with a buddy.

Do it. Nothing wrong with running a BB MOPAR in a small ford body.

There is a 90 Mustrange in town Here that sports a 455 Buick quite a Fast car for what it is (11.80) with a very mild motor, lots of fun to watch the pony boys take a second glance when they walk buy in the staging lane at the track, the car is street driven also. So i would say GO FAR IT!!

just remember that partnrships seldom work in bussiness, and drag racing people are very compeditive people, let alone bussiness people, up to you on this one but I will never go into a partnrship again, race wise or bussiness
