Need hemi scoop angle
« on: November 20, 2007, 01:14:54 PM »

Can someone throw their angle finder on top of their scoop. I am looking for the swept back angle of the front vertical sides at the opening of the scoop compared to the top horizontal part of the scoop. I have all other dimensions. I'm making a larger than stock scoop out of aluminum and want it to look proportionally correct.

Thanks

Tom

I'll have it painted and you can tell me what color; body color or black. But that's a ways off.

I have some 11 gauge 5052 aluminum, 3/4" angle for the mounting flange and 1/2" angle to keep it from flapping around.

Just want to match the factory front opening appearance.

If you give me a call after work today I will go down to the Garage and measure mine for you. My memory is just too fubar'd to remember, so I need a reminder call.  hammer
