antenna installation help request
« on: November 21, 2007, 10:28:33 PM »

Hello all,

I'm trying to install an antenna that I purchased on ebay in my scamp. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to install it. The antenna fits in the mounting hole fine but only seems to grab on one side in the mounting hole. It grabs on the side that is the upper side in the first picture, but not on the opposite side.

I think I may be missing a piece or have the wrong antenna

When I purchased the car there was no antenna so I have no frame of reference for what the antenna should look like how it is to be installed.

Here are some pictures of the antenna.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

It may be for the wrong size hole. There were two different sizes that I know of on a-bodies. That is an aftermarket antenna with a factory bezel put on.

Well I thought it was all set, but I bumped the antenna walking by and it popped loose. I guess I need the type of antenna in the attachment.

Anyone one happen to have one for sale?  Tongue
