Steering wheel restoration
« on: November 23, 2007, 10:19:16 AM »

Any thoughts?  The plastic on mine is cracked in several spots and dry and brittle in others.  I've seen a restoration kit in Eastwood.  Anyone ever tried it?  What does it consist of (some type of plastic filler then you have to paint it or something?).  I'd be willing to send it to someone if it didn't cost a fortune.

Just send me a PM, tell me how many cracks are on it and I'll quote you a price.  I'm moving in a few weeks but I'll be up and ready to do wheels in about a month...
