I searched but could not find any one that has put the gear vendors on a 727 behind a 383. Does any one know if the floor has to be cut. I know for a couple grand more I could put in the tremec but I just rebuilt the 727

I think Mopar Muscle used a Gear Vendors in their 67 Valiant givaway car a few years back, it does not matter which engine they had, the trans sits in the same spot. Also, the gear vendors will never break, they are supposed to handle 1500 hp.

Dont think the floor needs to be cut, but pretty sure it needs to be whacked a little w/ a hammer (often referred to as "dimpled")

It looks like it should attach right at the rear cross member and ends up at tightest part of the tunnel. I suppose a phone call to them might answer all. Thanks for your help

Here is something interesting:
With a 2 year unlimited horsepower, abuse, or mileage warranty and a 30 day money-back guarantee - you are guaranteed you will be happy with everything about how this kit installs and drives in your muscle car, street rod, or restoration project. We are big Mopar fans and all our 727 kits were revamped in 2007 to make the hugely popular B and E bodies a very simple install. Takes us 4 man hours to install start-finish. If you have never done one before plan on 6hrs. No cutting or grinding, two spots the size of quarters get smoothed in the tunnel and one spot the size of a quarter makes clearence for the right angle speedo drive. See Magazine Articles for some of the baddest mopars of all time that run a Gear Vendors 6 speed. Absolutely the best mod you will ever do to your Mopar or your money back.

When Mopar Action put that GM trans. in thier Road Runner they said the Gear Vendors short driveshaft and angles worried them and seemed less then ideal, has anyone heard of any driveshaft vibration problems with this unit?

E'berg always has some bogus technical reason for not using something he can't get for free.

Its funny that he has cobbled up Viper caliper, somebody elses rotors, and homemade brackets on his RR. I guess if he thinks of it, it must be better.
