Rack and pinion question for Bill

Do you happen to know of any manual racks that would bolt into a 87 Dakota? All of the parts stores need the old one for rebuild due to them being listed as a critical core:(

Not off hand. It doesnt surprise me though. There weren't many made - I hear very little about that rack...

length of tie rods and thread size, distance between the inner sockets, mounting hole style and location, size and angle of input shaft.
