I wanted to double check before anything was permanent so I emailed the NHRA membership techs directly. I asked if the side bars could be bent to clear the armrests or tweaked somehow and.... the answer was "It is acceptable to bend the bar as needed to clear the armrest. Pat Cvengros NHRA Technical Services Representative" Called Thunder Valley Track and they really could care less as long as there is a point from the main hoop to the floor that crosses the driver's side. Oh happy day.  |
