just got my rear sway bar installed with the RMS rear suspension, here's a few pics

I love this rear setup. Has Bill or anyone else pondered this setup with the lower bar mounted inboard, directly under the frame rail? Would it work? haven't seen a good enough photo in that region of the chassis to tell if there is enough room for bar mounting and suspension movement. Whadday ya think?

Has Bill or anyone else pondered this setup with the lower bar mounted inboard, directly under the frame rail? It's my understanding Bill designed it to work both ways, stock and inboarded. |

Bakaruda, as far as I understand, the sway bar is needed for cars running in the tens, it helps take the twist out and plant the tires squarley to the ground. I got the bar from a local race shop, not sure of the brand, I could get it if you would like. ilabodyguy; as far as I know it can be mounted either way.

If you want to mount the lower bar in line with the frame rail, would a special box with studs pressed into in have to be made and welded into the frame? I'm trying to figure out exactly how you could attach the four fasteners in the lower bar front mount and be able to remove them. Is bill making this type of frame rail mount or am I missing the boat completely. Has anyone done an inboard mount with the tri four setup? I'd love to see some good photos of that. That sway bar setup looks Bad Ass...BTW

you just need to drill two holes in the same spots at bills brackets.. not hard and just as easy. |

Yeah, I don't know why I got so stuck on using the provided bracket. I just love the whole concept of this rear suspension, and with the sway bar in the mix would seemingly provide a fantastic compromise between driveability and bad ass traction. Can't wait for some of the guys with this setup to get to the track and comment on traction as well as traction on the street with the sway bar.

Are you thinking about adding the sway bar too? It just seems to compliment the idea behind the suspension so nicely. Especially from a traction stand point. |

i would love to have a sway bar .. it wasn't avil. when we put mine in.maybe i'll by one down the road but right now i have to fix my motor the the sway bar is out for now.
