you obviously dont live in Calif. 74K wouldnt get you a decent vacant lot here.   as far as the mountain motors.... this brings the insanity to a whole new level. |

One of the rare few times I can apreciate living up here in ND, 2500 square feet, 5 bedrooms, 2 baths (one with a double sink even, thank goodness cause I have 2 daughters!) and a climate controlled (yes, heating cooling and moisture control) garage that has 1200 square feet of space (thats four plus stalls if you dont know), heck I even have a yard (but not to big, takes me about 15 minutes to mow, that includes time to pull the mower out and actually start it, then putting it away,  ) and the best part, I payed 72k when the wife and I bought it. Now if the city government and local 5 oh, wern't so corrupt and backwards, it might even be a good place to live  Oh well, cant win them all I guess. As far as mountain motors are concerned, after a certain point you are not gaining anything by increasing the engine size, there is what is refered to as a point of diminishing return. Beyond 600 to 700 CI, IMO, is just a bragging rights thing. |
