That one has different emblems than the 68 that I have seen, but to answer the question, yes they came with 318s.

No, it had a funky round/star emblem with "318" on it. It did have the Barracuda dash like this one, though. I think I have some pictures, but would have to go looking. The one on e-bay also has a 69 trunk panel, which should not be right.

I seen a 69 swinger in Mexico and looked it over.

Thought it was odd that the hood had 270HP molded into the casting instead of the plastic insert with 340 like here. Didn't notice it being a 318. It also had the Barracuda dash.

I tried to find the owner but I was by myself and the guy where the cars was didn't speak english and I don't speak spainish.

Seen lots of strange stuff on export cars
