Thought i would post some pictures of my 1967 dart project. I have it stripped out and sent off to be media blasted today.I will post some more pictures when i get it back.

Thanks for all the replies.All in all its seems very solid for a 40 year old car.Has some rust in lower part of right quarter panel,and a spot about like a quarter in the left quarter panel.Also has a small spot in passenger floor about the size of a dime,due to a crack in the cowl panel that let water leak in and set under the carpet.Other than that its pretty solid.I have been under it and inside and out,and thats about all i can find wrong.Just seems to have one repaint over the factory.Its really a piss pour job,some paint is peeling off down to the original.Also don't know that i would call some of the body work "bodywork".I hope to get it back at the end of this coming week and i will try to post some pictures.

Media blast is the way to go DA sander wears the arms out. Looks in good shape though good luck.

Very Nice, Looks to be a great car to start with.  I wish mine had been in that shape before I started.

Well i got the dart back from the media blaster last wed. I am very pleased with the results. I have a lot of media material to clean up,that stuff gets in cracks that i did not know me or the car had. I also got it in epoxy primer as well. So i thought i would post few more pictures. So if you don't hear from me for a while, it's because i am cleaning out the car. I probably will be doing that when Gabriel blows his horn.   I will try to post some more pictures when i get it all cleaned out.

Not really, a little rust in the lower area of the RH quarter panel.I had already picked up a used piece to repair that with.I had one door that was a little wavy before,but now i will probably replace it. The LH quarter panel has been repair in time,and i may replace the outer skin because they pieced the original one. As for rust it is very very limited. I have more problem with dents than rust. The underside is perfect,but i don't guess that the old guy that had it could run the underside into the garage door.

I don't think I could handle starting with a car THAT clean.  I had one car blasted on the underside.....it turned it into swiss cheese!     Your's looks great!!!  good luck.

Looks great like to see them that clean.  After 2 years I still get some plastic media out of cracks in the race car.
