« on: January 13, 2008, 08:24:49 PM »

Did you order a Pin On or a Bolt On  Huh?

If you ordered a Bolt On it should have a sticker on it with my name and phone number to call for lightweight spring mod.

AAR is nice, But, I had to put a lot of work in the bolt on one I got. The top on both sides was very low. I would say the spots where 10"x 4" along the back toward the windshield.  Along the edges on both sides, spots were low and high.

AAR only for me.  Mine is a bolt on 6 pack hood.  When I opened the box I was surprised at how nice it was.  When test fitting it, it was completely perfect.  If the car was white, I could have just left the gel coat and called it done.  Mine had no sticker about a light weight spring, but springs from 80"s daytonas and others will work perfectly.

Another vote for AAR. I have their hinged hood. The side gaps are perfectly straight and the contour seems to be uniform. The customer service is also good. Hood arrived in 3 weeks. Ordered Hemi scoop from them today and can't wait.
