if it's not a 270 model with air, year one has on under p/n FD9414 for 53.00 bucks. you will need to trim some of the plastice around the base.but it lines up with the factor holes. the first photo shows a factory delete plate. the second shows the year one piece fitted to the piece.

What did they do with the antenna hole on the fender on a Radio Delete car?

I have 2 radio delete cars:

On my 76 Feather Duster there's a little plastic chrome plug that goes in the fender hole, fools some people into thinking it's an electric antenna.  Not sure about earlier a-body cars.

My Superbird had no hole cut into the fender but the original owner installed a radio and had to drill the antenna hole.

I have a pair of NOS fenders for my 68 Dart and the passenger fender does not have a hole for the antenna.

Forgot - I had a 67 Valant radio delete car - no hole in the fender on that one.  Apparently sometime in the 70's they just started drilling all the fenders and using the little plastic plug on delete cars.

Hey I was curious if you found your heater delete plate yet.  I have one that I might not need afterall.  It was custom made, but looks pretty sweet.  Let me know, I have pics...hemi426dart@hotmail.com
