I heard a statistic the other day saying that since 1998 the earth has been cooling on average. That is with CO2 going up.

We will get change whether it is a Republican or a Democrat in office.
Either way it looks like we are getting a friggin liberal in office and will be voting for the lesser of 2 evils again.
The Republicans in Congress are a bunch of moderates any more. They will do anything to stay in office.
What we really need is term limits so these idiots know they have a limited time in office. That is the only way something will ever get done properly in Washington.

It is, however, fact there were WMD's there. We cannot forget the thousands gassed in the north and it is very easy to dig a hole in the desert and bury the WMD's. One sand storm and any trace of evidence is gone. I think at some point in the future they will be found.

The house and senate voted overwhelmingly to disarm Sadaam, both Dems and Repubs alike.  Lets make sure that the facts are not forgotten.

The economy was going into recession the last year of "slick willie's" term. 

The debt will be paid down when the economy has an upturn, and spending is cut as it should be.

Interesting. I have been there 4 times and Afghanistan 1 time and not once have I felt or any of my buddies felt we were there because Bush screwed up. What unit are you with? I was in Iraq 2 weeks before kick off. I was embeded with a TF and after that when we went back I was tasked with killing or capturing Zarqawi and all the other shitheads. I would love to know what it is you have been doing for 19 months that you didnt sign up to do? I was in Fallujah when we found the slaughterhouse that they were killing Americans in. I for one will tell you and who ever thinks that having another Clinton will make things better. When the 1st Clinton got in the Military was basically hacked in half. Then our Intelligance gathering capabilities were cut in half and all the "old" ways of doing business were not "PC" so we lost 80% of good usable intell. We were sent to places with out the right tools(intell and support) Mogadishu is the first place that comes to mind. Then we were sustaining in ONW and OSW. Due to the lack of the right tools Khobar Towers happened......How did Clinton respond? Oh a few years later USS Cole.....Response? a little while later and Embassy bombings. OH MAN, I forgot what happened to the towers the first time.......ok 8 years of Clinton and how many dead US Soldiers and what is our response? Man, you can't be that uninformed.  Most parts of the economy boomed after hitting the low point of 9/11.  Yup, the economy is on the slide after the housing bubble burst, but thats the last year and a half.  By the way, the stock market peaked above Bill's best year by 300 points.

The democrats have had control of both houses for awhile now and I see no change.  Does anyone really think that Universal Health Coverage, and the other entitlement programs that the dems support are going to lead to a reduction in spending?
