I would try lacquer thinner, if that doesn't cut it then take a razor blade to it,wet the window with a water dish soap solution to help not to scratch it

Do it with a razor blade. Then clean the glass with that stuff for doing glass stovetops.

I used a razor blade with glass cleaner to lubricate it. Worked real well to remove primer form my windows.

If you use steel wool make sure you wash the car good when you are done ( it is the best thing to use ) because all the little fibres will rust if you leave it on the surface and they get wet. Trust me , you will be wondering where all the little rust spots came from . Fresh paint is soft and it sticks even worse .

Use bronze wool, the particles left behind will not rust.

Extra fine steel wool AND laquer thinner worked wonders. It even removed the hard water deposits that collect in the corners of the rear glass along the weather stripping. Of course this was done with the glass removed. If you use the laquer thinner with the glass in, be advised, the thinner doesn't like rubber products and may tend to dry them out or harden them prematurely. The foamy and hairy/furry/felty weather strips are very susceptible to this and die a horrible seething death from being dried out from the chemical attack.

Another way that is very safe is what the eyeglass shops recommend is isopropyl alcohol (rubbing) --do not drink !! drinks  I've used it on overspray on my glasses (plastic lenses) --works great ,,,,,just a little elbow grease & a clean cloth/towel -,,,,I love lacquer thinner but it's kinda harsh on the rubber-----------------Mopar Tom

Razor blade is best, IMO. Water, soap together make a great lubricant   lol

I use a razor blade and glass tint adhesive remover. Strong glass cleaner works well also.
