Good Job! How close do your trunk hinges come to the tubs when the decklid is closed? Looks like it would be tight. I was thinking about doing this on my Dart in the future.

I sprayed it this afternoon, if you can use a rattle can you can do this. It is called Raptor made by UPOL, buy there gun also. A kit has 4 bottles in it with hardner for around 100, the gun is like 30 Just add reducer to the fill line , shake for 2 minutes, and attach bottle to the gun, very simple. You can vary texture, rough low air pressure and a smoother finish at higher pressure. I have a small cheap regulator on the gun and sprayed this at 60 lbs of air pressure. We usually do trunks, wheel wells , undersides with this product. Great for cars made to be driven . click this link and scroll down , it show the kit and gun. Or search U Pols website. http://www.tcpglobal.com/detailsupplydepot/dsd18.aspx

That is some really nice looking work you are doing. What did you use to cut out the wheel wells? Did you over lap the filler strip to weld it or did you butt weld them? If you overlapped them did you put the filler strip on top or under the wheel well?

Raptor liners a good way to go, I've got a buddy who did the whole undercarrage of his Chevelle and after almost two years and a lot of miles it looks great, real easy to apply, the price is great 1 kit should do the whole underside of a car, and its tint able if you want a special color. Richard

We just used a cut off wheel to remove them , keeps it real clean on the cuts. Then made a strip that has a overlap joint and used clekos to hold it together , the sections are on the bottom of the wheel well. this pic may help also .

I owe all this nice work to my guys in the shop . My best fabricator and the best I have seen is responsible for this. His name is Cole, and is crazy I tell you , crazy for Mopars. This however is our first Mopar build. We generally work on Chevys and Fords. Cole has done many !! I think I am finding a new love. I have told him that alot of you are asking for some tips or pointers. I think he will chime in here soon. Here are some Dana 60 pics in place now and some airride pics. More tomorrow, this is only mock up.

The rear cost about 2k , a little less actually.
The tank and motors are for the Air Ride system !
