Your pics helped me tremendously. I've been working on one of my tubs for the last two days. I'm finally to the point of re-installing the tub.
I also welded the trunk floor to the frame rail. I just clamped it as I went along to bring the gap together and welded small spots at a time. I only blew threw a couple times and they were small and easily filled.
Up to this point everything is looking great. I just hope I can come close to what you've done with that killer Demon.

I agree this part of the job can be a problem. It's easy to end up with the top edge of the rail so thin that it disappears when you try to weld it. I think the trick is not to get carried away removing the flange and making that edge paper thin. Even if you need to work the top of the rail under the floor slightly. The use of clamps, some light hammer work and being careful with the heat on the welder should help get that seam put together without making a big mess.

What chemical do you use to clean the "raptor liner" gun when your done spraying. Just regular paint gun cleaner, or something special?
Thanks, Dustin By the way nice ride!

Hold the suction tube of the gun in a bottle of thinners then just spray (with air supply) as if you where painting until it looks clean.

In between all of the other projects underway, we have made some progress on the Demon... . I informed Datsbad that you were asking and he should update soon with the photos he has. Thanks for asking.
