69 GTS Hood on a 71

Does anybody know if a 69 GTS hood would fit on a 71?
Has anybody tried it before?

It may fit, but it won't match the shape of the bumper and grille like it does on the 69.

If that is the look you are going for you will have to transfer the moldings (sorry don't know what they are actually called) from the 69 hood to the 71.  If you have good cutting/welding skills and can smooth everything out it should look neat on a 71.  Something different.
