i am in the prosess of moving springs, widening wheel wells and adding sub frame conectors. my car is literally a shell rite now everything is off it doors ,hood, decklid, rear, dash,kmember,frontend...... everything. my concern is when installing sub frame conectors the car may be sagging either in the rear or in the middle depending on where jack stands are, and when subframe connectors are installed it will be locked in that position, giving me problems making the doors line up and other things. is this a lagitamit concern or am i overanalyzing, has anyone else put in connectors with thier doors off or is that a bad idea? thanks Dustin

if the car is just a shell i doubt it it would sag. i put mine in as a shell and placed six stands under it and level it. place two under the torsion bar mount. and two under the front (by the radator support) and two behind the rear spring mount.and under the rocker panals equal to the front spring mount. check your levels before you finshed welding . you should be fine.

However, when you get ready to cut the rear subframes, to move the springs and install the front spring boxes, I suggest that you do support the rear of the frame or you will be taking a big chance in bending the car right at the notch for the front spring box(s).
