hey, i just picked up a 69 cuda, im not starting on it yet but i was wondering what the best way was to take off the old paint?? I have a sandblaster, but not sure if paint stripper would be better??

dont sandblast anything unless you are taking the car completely apart.....dont sandblast the exterior skins, soda blast or stripper there.......

Don't forget that stipper requires you to get rid of it once you are done, I had some issues on my front fenders, it started eating the primer in a few crevices, that I cound not get cleaned out.

I wouldn't take it all away unless you plan on spending a lot of timing making sure the car is straight. Even from the factory cars had filler in them to make panels straight. When you take that all away you see how wavey it really is. I would scuff it, seal it, scuff it, fill where needed, seal it, then you'll start to be ready for paint.
