I would say it depends on 3 things, your skill level at metal work, experience and if you have the tools? I'm just finishing up on the quarter panel replacement on my Demon, I did both sides, Now I'm no bodyman by any means but I do have 17 years of welding experience...That being said I think it can be done by anyone with patience, a welder and some basic cutting tools, and some practice...

When I did mine, it was the day after I bought my first welder, a small 160 amp 240v MIG. That being said, I had more or less no welding or no body skills. Just advice I got from online people. Make sure you get a lot of body clamps, clickos, and be very patient. As with any aspect of car building, you're final result is directly proportional to the amount of time and energy put in, that is especially true with sheetmetal work. Please post some pics when youre done!

Considering the same thing myself with a duster. I may just add little more bondo to the collection and live with it for a couple years until I get all the paint and body done.

I had no experience; and it shows! It pretty much sucked. It wasn't fun. I'd gladly pay someone else to do it next time. If you aren't extremely patient; get ready for some alcohol abuse! No matter how many times I tried; I can't seem to get this curve right
