How do I determine if I have the correct motor for a 67 car? In 67 where did they stamp the block? I know in 68 the last numbers of the vin are stamped across the motor and trans where they meet.

The numbers are not stamped on a 67. The best you can do compare the engine build date stamp and the SPD on the fender tag or broadcast sheet, but this is still not exact.

Thanks Jim. Thinking about selling my baby and just wanted to be able to prove it was an original block.
