Try greyhound.  The plus side is it won't end up on a conveyor belt to get smashed. They have messed up stuff on me, but, not like UPS.

Dave I would like $50 plus shipping for the fender. I am going to work on getting it boxed up. I will look into both Greyhound and UPS. Give me a couple days to get it boxed and I should be able to get you a price quote on shipping. Let me know if that will work for you.

Ok I got it boxed. What a pain. It weighs approximately 45lbs (using my highly accurate bathroom scale ) and the box measures 65"x32"x19". Tried some estimates online. The box is too big according to UPS (online). Greyhound quote is 59.50 online. I can not verify that as the nearest greyhound is about 35 miles away. I can look for some local truck freight shippers but I have a feeling that they will not be any cheaper than Greyhound. Let me know what you want to do.

opps been awhile its a 2 door hard top,318,at ac ps pb front disks,small bolt pattern 8 3/4 323 auburn posi,the car is pretty sraight it needs total replacment on passenger rear quarter though, since im leavin the rear in it im selling 1500 obothanks will

I usualyget my parts from dvap in Arizona.Ups takes our big stuff.They dont put big parts on conveyor belts.We out them on small tugs ,goes directly to trailer door.Threr is also ups freight,I like the idea they come to your door to pickup.I ve been there 16 yrs now and only got a bad back and 3 knee operations.14 more to go......
