window trim removal?

well im at the point to move along on my project i have to get the window trim off. i went to painters supply and of corse the GM guy behind the counter only carries a GM trim removal tool called a jiggler  . he assures me that this will also work on a mopar. well after one hour and eight beers im still trying to get the trim off with out damaging it or the clips. what i need to know is what exactly i have to do to get these stupid clips to release the trim? and what should the tool look like that is for a mopar?

I watched a guy take the trim off my roadrunner a long time ago and I'm pretty sure he used a tool that looked like a spatula with a space cut out of the middle. I'll ask my friend who sells tools if there's a specific tool tonight and get back to you.

I think someone used a GM tool on mine cause it is bent all to hell.It probably was a GM guy with a GM tool,idiots.

the tool i have is similar to the top red handle tool, do i need the yellow handle tool instead? l just don't want to ruin my trim trying to get it off.

The red handle tool will do the job. Place it flat on the glass, with the hook point against the windshiled frame. Rotate the handle so the hook will pull the trim clip away from the frame. Go slow and take your time. Start at the top of the trim in the middle of the glass. Move along that to the end , then repeat on the other side. Do not force it. It will come off. After you get some of it off then you will bw able to see the trim clips. It is easy just take your time.
