Wheel Spacers

Has anyone ever used a 1/2" wheel spacer behind the rear wheel? I am having trouble finding a wheel with 4' backspacing that is a light weight wheel. I figured on going with a 4.50" backspacing and put in a wheel spacer.  Frustrated

Weld Aluma stars come in even numbers while the pro stars come in the half sizes. Hole shot wheels will also make any offset you need. (I'm sure there are others but these are just off the top of my head) Do not use a spacer on the back unless you have 5/8ths studs.
