I started to mess with mine the other night. I slid the left pipe up over the axle with the muff in the approx. location. It seemed to follow the frame rail and spring okay. They do look a little funky but I think it's deceiving till you get them in place.

I tried to install mine today with TTI's and it is not a bolt in with a 383. Tail pipes look like they will work, but the transition from the X pipe to the header needs some custom fabrication since the headers angle in.

Well I had my Pypes system installed today and it only cost me $298.00 to have it fitted. My car has TTI headers and has had the springs moved inwards with a B body tank, but I had read that this would not be an issue. The shop had to make new transition tubes to the x pipe and raise the x pipe and mufflers and were only able to use about 20% of the tail pipe section. I could have had a custom built exhaust (and much cleaner) system done for about a $150.00 less than the total cost after installation. It may be fine for a stock unmodifed car, but I must say that my friends 67 Dart has a great looking set up from TTI and was able to install it himself in one weekend and looks great. If knew what I know today, I would have went a different route for my application.

Any feedback on Violator versus Race Pro muffler options from Pypes? I've been eyeing up some exhaust for my 71. I just fired her up for the first time on Sunday, so I've got the urge to get the car road worthy soon!

I'm don't have any personal experience with their mufflers, just their pipes, but have you checked the sound and video clips on the Pypes website? I remember seeing some video on there when I was shopping for exhaust.

I actually made my exh system to save money. I bought the 3" H-pipe from Jegs and four 4ft lenth's of 3" pipe along with Untra-Flow mufflers. Borrowed my buddies mig welder and went to my work shop to use the lift. It turned out ok as I did not bend any of the front pipes. Ron
