My cage is painted gloss black atleast all you can see that`s not padded.  Easiest thing to keep touched up incase of an oops or some welding.

I like to use epoxy enamel - it's in a spray can at Lowes or Home Depot.  It's also called appliance epoxy paint.  Tough stuff, but watch recoating. It  will wrinkle on you if you don't follow the instructions.  One coat is tough as hell.

Krylon Rust-tough satin black leaves an awesome finish, I am using it on more or less everything that needs paint inside the cabin.

I am going to keep it simple and use the rust tough. Also easy on touch ups from my mis happs. I was also thinking on the grapite color but the car is a blk/orange theme so may not look right.

Krylon gloss black. As mentioned earlier, touch ups and rearranging made easy. I went as far as to put skateboard traction tape on high rubbing areas where I tend to put my feet getting in. Less paint required there...

I don't have a roll bar yet but I will go through the hassle of using PPG Omni. Its a single stage paint that I will spray out of my spray gun. It is so much better than anything out of a spray can. I've use it on suspension parts and wheels with great results. I painted some upper control arms for my neighbor that turned out great, later he painted the rest of his suspension parts with some chassis black, that was a year ago. The parts painted with Omni stilled looked great the other parts had rust showing through. I was easy to sand blast off the rust and old paint. He had also painted his brake calipers with Omni but didn't like the Plum Crazy color. He put them in the sand blaster couldn't blast off the paint easily. We decided that we would just paint over the purple color with some black Omni. I haven't used spray can paint since I got my spray gun 2 years ago. Its a De Vilbiss GTI spray gun, one of the best tools I own and well worth the money spent.

Looks Awesome!  Did you use primer with the krylon?  Did you scuff up the bars with sandpaper or anything before spraying?  How strong is the paint?  Can you dig a finger nail in it?
