I thout all B&RBs were 2 bolts do you meen you want to convert to 4 bolt what do you want out of the 400

383-440 wedges are all 2 bolt mains - due to the design, a 2 bolt main Mopar is stronger than brand X's 4 bolt mains.

The hemi's and most aftermarket are 2 bolt with additional cross bolts making it a 4 or 6 bolt main.

looking at 512 ci stroker 600 plus horse its a mopar itll be fine    thanx for the info

  There are folks tht sell main caps to convert them into 4 bolt mains but they are like the Hemi not the typical SB and required alot of machine work to install.

worry less about the main bolts and more about the cylinder wall thickness. Get it sonic checked before you do anything.

Throw a set of ARP studs in there, and the block will die before the "wimpy" 2 bolt mains will.

I've never had a problem with a 2 bolt block with studs in it ...
