Do you need to press in the ball joint in the upper or should tightning the nut suck it through enough?

the ball joint actually screws into the control arm. it doesnt press in. hopefully the threads arent stripped out. if they arent you should be able to put the ball joints in easily. good luck

I'm pretty sur e they were mostly stripped out, there was just enough left to grab so i went ahead and muscled it in with a pipe wrench. It definitely didnt go in easy but  its in their solid. How far do i turn it in, stop at the last thread or go past till it bottoms on the flat?
Thanks Dustin

I know i know, i got a shop manuel on the way Blah Blah Blah
