What I have is a 72 dart with a 73 K. I'm getting ready to rebuild my LCA's. I want a sway bar. The 72 parts car has a factory sway bar. Damn I have the 73 K-frame where the sway goes thru the K-frame? Can someone post a picture of this I'm having a hard time picturing a sway bar threaded thru the K. The 73 LCA's do not have the sway tabs. The 72 and earlier sway mounts to the front of the K-frame correct?? I need to crawl under my parts car and look this over. I'm having a hard time understanding why the the 72 sway bar won't work with the 73 K-frame. My options are as I see it. 1. Ditch the 73 K-frame and use the all the 72 stuff (K, LCA's and Swaybar) 2. Use the 73 K-frame and buy a kit to put a sway bar on. (damn I hate the thought of that with the 72 Sway sitting in the back yard) 3. Make the 72 sway work with the 73 K-frame. (is this even possible) Is there an option I'm missing? Thanks, Steve

There is no issue using the early sway bar on the late k-member. You just have to use the early LCAs, too. There will be a clearance problem between front mounted calipers and stock early sway bar end links. There are two solutions to this. Either swap the spindles and calipers side-side or shorten the end links.

Cool I was hoping that was going to be the answer. I took a look at the 72 donor car and I did not see a problem. So later on when I put discs on the car I will need to swap spindles and calipers from side to side. That is not too bad of a solution.
Thanks, Steve
