Looking for the trim that continues from the tail lights accross the back of the trunk on my '67 Dart.  Any ideas on places to go?

Finding one of those is tough....and finding one that isn't totally thrashed is damn near impossible (unless you are willing to shell out the $). They pop up on ebay from time to time...

It would be the trim that's missing accross the top and bottom of my trunk, that would connect the tail light trim here.

is that a 270?

I believe the Dart GT's and the 270 were the only ones with the trim

I will start a new thread but need to see how much demand there would be for the trim and finish panel if the trim was repoped

I don't even think it was the 270 honestly, but I'd have to look at the title again.

I don't think the title will tell you; you might have to decode the VIN for that.

Meh, I'm not really that worried about it honestly, I just want the trim back there.  Cheesy  The car I KNOW was the small slant 6 with auto being the only option.  It's not going to end up a /6 and the SB 727 wasn't the original trans, nor the Dana 60 rear or 4 wheel disc that it's sitting on.  Cheesy

Hey Ace, just to clarify, are you looking for the 2-part 270 trim or GT trim? There is a GT panel on ebay right now...

2 part trim, not the GT filler piece or whatever.  I did spot the GT piece though

The "67" 270 AND the GT used the SAME "2-part upper and lower trim pieces.

The upper and lower are inter-changable.

There is a "male" section and a "female" section that slip together to form the full trim piece.

The only differance between the 270 an Gt was the added GT panel.
