AlterKation Components: One Step At A Time?
« on: March 02, 2008, 06:32:25 PM »

(Am sure a thread like this exists, but not under various topic-words used for SEARCH.)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The question is:

Is it possible to build-up to a complete Alterk front-end, installing it in separate sequenced consecutive stages?

Like, get/install the Wilwoods first---later get/install the control arms--etcetera--leaving the steering/K-member till last?

Would really help the budget, as well as start enjoying the individual upgrades one step-at-time now.

If so, how'd it go, stage-by-stage?

If you've done it, please tell us all about it !-----------------THANKS MUCH!

no.

the only thing you can get that will fit after the alter-k is bills upper control arms...  other then that nothing including the wilwood brakes for a chrysler suspension will work.

Thanks for the reply, Joe. Was hoping to break-up the big chunk-o-change.

So, how about re-using * just* the calipers & rotors off my current Wilwoods? Would that work?

Just trying to not duplicate *any* where that can be avoided, in order to "save a nickel here and dime there".

(OT: Are those Cragarr S/S in the 4.5 bolt-pattern 15"X4"s in your sig-pic? What size tire? Looks great!)
