This Web Site has saved me lots and LOTS of money in the long run.

I came here AFTER we decided to make a 273 Dart GT into a 383...and the amount of information and time saved on preventive advice from possibly/probably having done things wrong  has been beyond calculation..

Having said this, we have invested about $15K into the car at this time, not including the original cost of the car or labor..

It's been worth it, though...Big TIME..! Cool  Grin

Taking a guess, about $9000 so far, that includes $4000 for the car, 4000 mechanicals, and about $1000 for bodywork. I don't count the $3000+ I spent on tools to do my project.  motorinstall

Save money..........saved me plenty of mistakes, but also fed my addiction.
Damn, I have 40K in a 69 Dart sitting a car hauler and no engine or interior (out of money, taking donations) and a sweet 67 Dart (another 10K) about to go on the road.
I'm addicated......................I LOVE IT!  Grin

$7,500.00 for Dart and all the parts to rebuild it, the guy I purchased it from sold it to me for what he had into it for the paint and bodywork, I spent approxamatly another $9,000.00 to get it to the point it's at now. (SEE BELOW) Oh and I got it before learning about this site, and already had a game plan for it.

I have had many cars including my 69 Dart Swinger before I joined here. But I have never owned a A-body before. I have learned a lot from members here on A-bodies. Mopars are all basically the same to me. It is the quality of the members that keeps me here. In the short time that I have been a member. I have seen a lot of bad times that members have posted about. But then some thing special happens. There is a group of great guys and gals who reach out to help in any way that they can. You can not put a price on that. With that said I have about 8K in my dart so far. I would have spent that if I was a member here or not.

Bigitme said it all !!!!!!!!

There is one thing I have gotten form here that is better than money. I would say one of my best friends. I meet a guy here who when he moved we started talking and helping each other. Now I call him one of my best friends. You can not put a price on that.

What's more important..........having the project and a feeling of accomplishment............or having the money sitting in some bank account and you sitting in some chair worrying about it?

LOL, that's funny. If I didn't have my toys to spend my money on...it'd still be spent. On what I don't know, but saving money isn't my forte,.

YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, WHEN YOU DIE

btw I have over 20K in my car, but'd have over 30K if it wasn't for this site. That's all parts...labour is free. In fact, it's primarily why I love this hobby. Time to create by myself and time to repair. I'm learning alot
