Can anyone help me identify this trim on my '68 GTS Dart? I've got both an "H" Code GTS, and also a /6 2dr hdtp. The GTS has a wide trim (approx 1/2") on the quarters and doors, and the hdtp has the std very thin trim. I've had these cars side by side for years, but only recently have I noticed this difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx again.

The "trim" on the /6 car is actually part of the weatherstripping. The trim on the GTS is on all 68 GTS Darts. I'm not sure what other 68s had it, though. It's really a paint protector from arms put up there.......... I don't know if the designers thought about it that way, plus it's a bare arm burner in the summer.

The arm burning wide trim is often times refered to as "belt molding".
