A BIG Steaming Pile of...
« on: March 15, 2008, 01:03:14 AM »

PARTS!!  It's ALL here: Gen III 5.7 Hemi, Tremec 5 speed w/conversion kit, Bill's AlterK, Willwood 4 wheel discs, Bill's 4 link rear-end kit.  Took the instrument cluster out to send it to RedLine for recallibration, factory looking amp to volt meter, factory looking oil pressure guage where the idiot light is and update of my console tach.
I am very excited to see how it all comes together, tear-down starts next week and I'm hoping to be shredding the tires by mid-April.
I would like to  thank you ALL for answering my dumb questions and tolerating my 8 year old sense of humor.
I owe a big debt of gratitude to O.J. for opening my eyes to the possibilities.
I took a bunch of photos, but I'm having trouble loading them. (photobucket isn't working either) must be my connection @ home.
I'll get it figured-out and post progress pic's.
BTW, the 5.7 arrived in a huge orange crate...very impressive

I have been trying to post the pic's and even went so far as to email several to the guy that does resizing.  For some strange reason, photobucket timed-out and would not upload.
PLease accept my apology for the lameness of the post, but it wasn't from lack of effort.
As soon as I figure this out, I'll supply the eye candy

some more progress pics
The new axles arrive on Monday and now I have my back against the wall...tires and wheels are priority 1.  Does a 235 40 18 fit the front?  How about a 285 40 18 for the rear?  Anyone know?
Thx, J
