EZ Wiring harness, anyone use one yet?
« on: March 17, 2008, 11:35:31 AM »

After I pulled everything out of my engine compartment, and the rear of the car already had the harness pulled, I have decided its time to rewire the car. I am going to order the EZ wiring harness, I found one that has many more curcuits than I need. I am more than capable with any wiring projects, I have even built my own harness once for a Maverick that had an engine fire, so I am not intimidated by it, just wondering if anyone has any opinions.

I've used one and they're great, especially for the money.  Just like a Pain-less kit as far as how it's all labeled out for you.  I plan on going with a set up from them as well as I had good luck with the first one.

I am going to get the EZ because I had one offered to me for under $100 new. I was going to build my own, bu the cost of the individual pieces was not cost effective. I am already planning on customizing this harness, I know the RF and Painless harnesses are good, but they are a bit pricey for me.

I haven't installed it yet but I picked up a 21 circuit EZ harness at a swap meet for under $100 and I am very impressed with its quality and with the extent that its labeled. I'd definately recommend one.

I used one on my 66 Hemi Coronet.  Very nice setup for the money.

I paid for it, it should reach me in a few days, for $100, I can not complain. Plus, my old harness is almost out already.

Hi FlyBoy1,  Does EZ have a bulkhead connector or will you have to close up that OEM hole, just wondering ?  Did you go ahead with that neat home made gauge panel you had mocked some time back ?
